Young dancers are introduced to the wonderful world of ballet, gymnastics, tap, and movement. This is a fun and positive way to learn basic technique and rhythm, creative movement, and boost self-confidence. 45-minute classes are specifically designed for early development. Dancers will perform for family and friends at the Winter Recital on Sunday, December 14th. Registration includes a recital costume.

Young dancers are guided through exercises that introduce basic tap, ballet, jazz, and gymnastic skills. Dancers learn basic dance terminology and the structure of a dance class. 55-minute classes focus on building self-confidence, creative expression, and coordination. Dancers will perform for family and friends at the Winter Recital on Sunday, December 14th. Registration includes a recital costume.

Love of dance required! Let's start on the right (or the left!) foot. Classes focus on fundamentals, with an emphasis on body placement and proper mechanics. The importance of dance class etiquette and discipline is established. Dancers (except those in Ballet I), will perform in the Winter Recital on Sunday, December 14th. Registration includes a recital costume for performing classes. No experience necessary, just a willingness to focus and learn!

Level II classes advance understanding of dance fundamentals, with an increased focus on technique, terminology, body placement, and strength development. The importance of dance class etiquette and discipline is emphasized. All classes (except Ballet II and Turns & Jumps) will perform in the Winter Recital on Sunday, December 14th. REQUIRED TO REGISTER: A basic understanding of dance vocabulary and previous dance instruction.

Level III classes further advance an understanding of dance fundamentals, with an increased focus on technique, terminology, body placement, and strength development. Classes stress the importance of dance class etiquette and discipline. REQUIRED TO REGISTER: Mastery of Level II dance skills.

Reserved for competition dancers, unless you have permission to attend. Level IV demands an extensive knowledge of dance techniques and progressions. In addition to emphasizing dance class etiquette and discipline, Level IV dancers are expected to support the WD studio through our “Wanna Give Back” program.
