Samantha Goldenberg - Founder

Samantha Goldenberg is the founder of Wanna Dance, created with the vision of inspiring children to fall deeply in love with dance, movement, and performance—and that vision has truly come to life.

A devoted mom of four, Samantha brings over 25 years of professional dance and teaching experience to every class she leads. Her dance journey began at UC Davis, where she was a member of the university’s prestigious Dance Team, earning national recognition when the team was featured on ESPN after winning 1st Place at Nationals in Hip Hop and 3rd Place in Jazz.

Following college, Samantha continued her career as a professional dancer, performing at the highest levels of the industry. She danced professionally with the NBA’s Golden State Warriors and Major League Soccer’s Chivas, and her work spans national commercials for DICK’s Sporting Goods, music videos alongside Daddy Yankee, and touring with various recording artists. She was also a finalist on ABC’s Dance Machine, coming just a few votes shy of winning the $100,000 grand prize.

While these accomplishments are impressive, they are not what truly define Samantha. She is deeply committed to the journey of dance—the intrinsic joy of mastering a new skill, surpassing expectations, and continually challenging herself to grow. Samantha remains a lifelong student of her craft, consistently expanding her education, artistry, and understanding of movement. Her passion lies not only in performance, but in inspiring others to find confidence, purpose, and joy through dance.

Beyond dance, Samantha is a highly qualified fitness professional, teaching Zumba, Pilates, yoga, and stretch, and working as a certified personal trainer. She holds certifications through NASM, ASFA, Zumba, and CPR, bringing a well-rounded, safe, and athletic approach to her training.

Samantha has a rare and powerful gift: the ability to inspire dancers, nurture confidence, and elevate passion into performance—creating an environment where dancers don’t just learn steps, but truly shine.
